• July 2018, Academy opens Brisbane Sales Office (also servicing Sunshine Coast & Northern QLD).

• Congratulations to the following specifiers, who won awards for projects featuring our products at the Eat-Drink-Design Awards! Grant Cheyne and 1:1 Architects for Spice Temple Melbourne (Winner - BEST RESTAURANT DESIGN) and The Waiting Room (Highly Commended - BEST BAR DESIGN); Luchetti Krelle for Momofuku Seibo (Highly Commended - BEST RESTAURANT DESIGN); Caroline Choker for The Grounds of Alexandria (Highly Commended - BEST CAFE DESIGN).

• The Galeries Victoria Food Hall - designed by The Uncarved Block and prominently featuring Academy Tiles product - won the Best of NSW Commercial Design Award at the 2012 Australian Interior Design Awards.
• Melbourne Central Dining Hall and The Galeries Victoria Food Hall - designed by The Uncarved Block and both prominently featuring Academy Tiles product - were 2 of 4 finalists for the Best Retail Design Award at the 2012 Australian Interior Design Awards.
